This laptop will self-destruct in 10 seconds

Ubergizmo has an article about IBM’s new “ultra-secure” concept laptop:
Spy Notebook
The laptop features:

  • a security knob
  • hidden USB ports
  • a built-in paper shredder

I don’t think I will be buying one any time soon, but if you’re into ultra secure laptops, this concept seems to do the trick.

I had heard of some of these before and thought to myself “what’s the point?” The ones I hadn’t heard of made me ask myself the same question while shaking my head. All but the Roll-Up Keyboard which I think is a useful gadget. I guess necessity isn’t the only mother of invention, though.
